The Key To Riches ......

Hi Zahir!

When we discover something is going wrong in our lives we have two choices. We can complain and blame, or change. I have learned not to beat myself up when things go "wrong" because that creates a very low vibration and by doing that I attract more of the same thing.

Instead I ask, "How can this serve me?" In other words, if things did not turn out the way I wanted them to, I at least want to pull one good thing out of the experience. So my focus is on what I can take away from the experience that will help me next time. Then I move on.

OneSelf Mastery

Remember, if you think your problems are "out there" then you will continue to look "out there" for the solutions. Keep in mind that if you blame someone else for your problems then THEY have to change in order for you to have what you want and be happy. It never works.

Too many people take the victim road and end up in a ditch. When you PLAY the victim you FEED the victim and the universe sends you more opportunities to be one.

Riches flow to those who are accountable. In fact, let's take accountability to the next level. Let's talk about being accountable for EVERY single thing in our lives. That's right - I said everything - even when you are convinced it is not your "fault". You will always experience the greatest results when you become fully accountable. Only when you become accountable for EVERYTHING can you be responsible to change ANYTHING.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Hi Zahir!

Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Psychologist Martin Seligman, the godfather of the positive psychology moment, conducted extensive research in optimists versus pessimists. What he found was optimism can be learned. He discovered that optimists consistently talk about what they are rather than what they are not, or what they have instead of what they don't have. Pessimists have one thing in common, they talk about why things are not the way they should be and what they don't have.

We are not born pessimists. In fact, all children are optimists until we program them differently. Stand outside any amusement park on any given weekend and talk to the families that exit. Kids come out and you ask them, "What did you think of the park?" The gush, "Oh that was so cool!" Now talk to the parents and here is what they say, "Lines are too long". "Food was overpriced". "The damn noise and crowds get on my nerves". So is the amusement park a happy place or a place from hell? The answer is - it is neither. It depends on the meaning we give to it.

How did we go from being born optimists to being pessimists?
Somewhere along the way we were trained not to be optimistic in case things don't work out. If you are too optimistic and things don't work out you will be very disappointed. But if you are pessimistic and they don't work out you will be less disappointed and of course, you will be "right".

Seligman also states that we can learn or relearn how to be optimistic. According to his research optimists outperform pessimists ten to one! Maybe it is time to reprogram our thinking and ask, "What is good about this situation?" and if we cannot find the good, ask, "What does my reaction to this say about me?" This can help you to become more of an optimist.

Nothing In Life Has Any Meaning Besides The Meaning We Give It !

Hi Zahir!

Nothing in life has any meaning besides the meaning we give it.

How do we create meaning? In many cases we are programmed by our culture and the people around us. The truth is that all meaning is subjective. Some of us are taught that having designer clothes, a perfect body and having a lot of money is the true meaning of success. In other cultures having a loin cloth, a lip plate, long earlobes and living off the land is the true meaning of success.

Some of us are taught that death is sadness and others believe it is joyful because we get rid of our warn-out bodies so our spirit can move on and have more fun!

Imagine you are in the ocean and you are a poor swimmer. Behind you is a huge wave. Now what do you think? Do you think what an exciting and fun wave? No! You're scared as hell. Now imagine you are an experienced surfer and the same wave comes up behind you.
You say, "Cool. Hang ten. What a wave dude". Did the wave change?
Obviously it was just the meaning you gave to it.

If nothing in life has any meaning besides what you give to it then your experiences in life have nothing to do with what is happening in your life, but everything to do with the meaning you attach it to.

Understanding that you can choose the meaning to the events in your life gives you a tremendous power to change the quality of your experiences, the quality of your results and the quality of your life.

If you feel angry or upset ask yourself, "What does my reaction to this say about me?" In other words, what do I have to believe to experience the emotions I am experiencing right now in this situation? In short, you define your own experiences. You create your own meaning.

It Is Not What I Think !!!!

Hi,

This will be short. It is not what I think and for sure it is not what you think. It is almost 5 years already that I stop from my official "Job". What do I get ? What happened to my life ? How I am taking it? What is wrong with me ? Where I am now ?

The past 5 years experience is the most valuable memory that I am going through.It is not easy.And it come to very difficult. And it has a lot of ups and downs. And mostly down I guess. However it make me what I am today.

What do I get ?

I get to know myself much much better. I know my fear.I know my strength. I know who I am. I know my limit. And one most important thing is that I know that I don't even owned anything and I never owned a thing. This is a FACT.

What happened to my life ?

I am getting into the mystery of life and valuing life as it unfolds to me. Yup there so many challenges about how to live with No Proper Income. No proper job. No proper bank. No proper friend. Not Able to help others because Not Able to help myself. Not able to support a family. Not able to help parents. Overall I am "Useless" in the term of society.

How am I taking it ?

Do not get me wrong. I am blessed. I am blessed with other things that is NOT material in existence. I take this as it unfold the magical of life. It is always magical everyday. I am not sure that I will be able to woke up tomorrow morning. I am not sure how long I will live. I am not sure how long I can take this.Actually NO ONE have the absolute SURE what will happened next.

What is wrong with me ?

There is nothing wrong with me. Just going through the opposite path than usual. Why don't I do something - get a job, do something and change ? I am doing something. I am working on something. I am getting something. Nonetheless there NO Guarantee what is the result. I not losing HOPE. HOPE is all THERE IS.

Where I am NOW?

I am here in this world. Still comparing with others - what they have and what that I don't have. I do not own a house others have a big house with swimming pools. I do not have a proper income others have stable income more than 40K per month. I am stuck with MAJOR DEBT while other is a FREEMAN.

Do I like what I am NOW ?

Again I love what I am. I love myself more than before. I love my wife. I love my children. I love my parents. I am learning to understand the mechanism of this universe. I learned to understand how BLESSED I am to be in this phase or state.

Anyway... I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.

Motivaton : Are you motivated by fear?

The tendency for most people is to get into a comfort zone and build a nice little nest there. The comfort zone is made up of all the thoughts we've had and all the things we've done often enough to feel comfortable thinking or doing them. Anything that threatens to push us out of our nest makes us feel uncomfortable.

"Uncomfortable" is a catchall term that encompasses many emotions; fear, unworthiness, doubt, anger, hurt and distrust, to name a few. Since we have labeled these emotions as "bad", we don't want to feel them and so we crawl back into our nests.

It can be argued that there are really only two human emotions, fear and love and that all other emotions are variations on these two themes. Any negative emotion is a spin-off of fear. Except for rare occasions, most of the fear that we experience is over imagined circumstances or consequences. But, since fear keeps us from doing things, we never really check out the validity of the fear itself. A feedback loop of fear ? not doing ? ignorance ? then back to fear develops.

When something pushes us out of our comfort zone we feel some variation of fear. The bodily sensations that go along with fear are something that we have come to label as "bad" and we want to avoid them at all costs. Let's look at what happens when the body feels fear; adrenaline, glucose and other energy producing chemicals are released into the bloodstream. Our senses actually sharpen when non-essential fears such as, "Did I remember to TiVo Lost?", pop up and we gain an instant ability to focus on the task at hand.

When we are outside of our comfort zone, most of the time, the only thing we are in danger of is learning something new. What is helpful in learning something new? Energy, clarity and the ability to focus - all available to you via your friend, fear.

Now, am I saying that fear is the best motivator? No, but I am saying that you can change the way you look at the sensations that fear produces. Do you realize that, at a somatic level, excitement feels pretty much the same as fear? So what I'm suggesting is that the next time you get pushed out of your comfort zone and you feel the adrenaline of fear, instead of crawling swiftly back into the safety of your nest, change the way you look at it. Choose to experience the sensations of excitement and use the clarity, energy and increased focus at your disposal to say "YES" to the experience and learn something new!

Do What You Want To Do And Be Responsible !!!

What do you want to do today ? Today will not be the same as yesterday and it will never be the same as tomorrow. So what you do today is today's doing and what you do another day is that another day doing.

Make sure you do something or the default routine will take control. When default routine take control you will miss the moment that you did not do anything. Today I choose NOT to DO anything and this bother my mind.

I am in war within myself because I am not doing anything. This war is really a GREAT PAIN. This should be stop. Can I stop it? NO ...and absolutely NOT.

It happened everyday and this goes on until die.

An Email To Me About People Act "Powerless" !!!

Hi Zahiruddin!

Why do we resist doing what we can in this moment? Because we might fail. If you get right down to the core of it, you will see that people act powerless because it's far easier to blame circumstances than go ahead and do it anyway, and maybe look really stupid in the process. So we give our power away to others. It's like we're saying, "No, please, YOU take my power. This way I can blame YOU if things don't work out".

Hope attempts to prove we're powerless.

We say things like...

-I am not the one in charge here, so there is really nothing I can do.

-I believe my fate is in God's hands.

-They won't let me...(government, rich people, or anyone else who appears to have more power)

-What is the use of trying? The odds are clearly stacked against me.

These are nothing more than assumptions. Assumptions are characterized by the habit of taking for granted that something is true when it is not. Questions you must ask are, "Is my assumption true or false? What proof or evidence do I have about my assumption? "

What's more stupid than a stupid question? The answer is an incorrect assumption.

Think of this in terms of your return on investment. In business we focus heavily on the ROI (return on investment), but we forget to use that same concept throughout the rest of our lives.
When we fail to do what we want because of an assumption, we are forgetting about the concept of ROI. What would be the ROI for doing it anyway, even if someone somewhere holds the assumption that it is impossible? If all any of us ever did was follow our assumptions, we would still be afraid of falling off the edge of the earth.

Is it wrong to hope or have expectations? Absolutely not. However, the tipping point where hope turns into defeat is when hope keeps us from doing what we can do in the moment.
